Sleeping positions reveal personality

A recent study by an American doctor uncovered a link between sleeping positions and people's personalities, Dallas News reports.
Dr Nilesh Dave of the Sleep and Breathing Disorders Center at University of Texas Southwestern Medical School was detailing the benefits of sleep including athletic benefits, stress relief and memory improvement when she talked about the psychology behind sleeping styles.
For example, the foetal position shows toughness on the outside yet a sensitive heart, while the "log" - a straight body - conveys a social, easygoing attitude but may also signify gullibility.
Furthermore, the "yearner" - someone who sleeps on their side with their arms reaching out, "have an open nature but can be cynical, suspicious and slow to make up their minds", says the online news provider.
Horlicks are currently taking an online poll of sleeping positions to find the most popular in the country, with the "log" topping the survey with 21 per cent of votes.
